Equipped Room in Central Amsterdam
|地址||Jan Luijkenstraat, 1071 CN Amsterdam, 荷兰|
Decorated using warm red tones, the spacious room includes a large double bed and a sleeper sofa for one. An additional fold up single bed is available on request. There is also a kitchenette which includes a microwave, stove, kettle and refrigerator.
Tram lines serving the city stop right in front of the building. Within a 250-metres radius are the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. Vondelpark is a 2-minute walk away. The Heineken Experience is 850 metres away.
Please note that we have cats and there is a cat smell outside the rooms. Please do not book if you do not like cats.
Guests can also benefit from the nice garden which accompanies the property, as well as the bar placed in the same building.
For an unforgettable adventure, book a room in Hans's house with a bohemian atmosphere. Located in the museum area of Amsterdam's city center, you can not find a better place to stay with an incredible view within a few meters from the Rijks museum.
Hans offers much more than accommodation in a good location; his house is a network to artists and tourists who traveled all over the world, stayed in Hans' house, making for good atmosphere and lots of fun. For Hans, this is not a rental business, but a way of cultural exchange. We are at walking distance from all major attractions in Amsterdam. Further we have a tram stop in front of our house with trams running every 5 minutes through the center.

the red room at hans' place is great!! A man called Damien showed us around when we got there, he was very kind and polite as well as funny. He even gave us a bong to use during our stay!! The wifi password wouldn't work for us but wasn't a a huge issue. The house is very close to trams and buses and the surrounding area is great. Will definitely stay here again
Everything was fine. Unfortunately we couldn't arrive at the arranged time, but that was not a big deal. The aparment is located near leidseplein and vondelpark, you can reach it just in a few minutes by foot.
We got a short introduction as we arrived and from then on could stay on our own, wich for us was very nice and ok.
Not only is the room perfectly situated in the perfect spot of Amsterdam (minutes walk away from the center and located in the heart of the museum district) but it is big, comfortable and classy! The house in which the room is found has a wonderful little garden, perfect for a quiet read or to plan the day ahead. Hans is a friendly landlord with alot of good advice and plenty of funny stories. When I go back to Amsterdam i will certainly go back to the Red Room!! I recommend it without a doubt!
Thank you very much Hans for your welcome. it's was a really good experience this trip in Amsterdam, and mainly in your flat. it was really good located, and nice too. Everybody in the flat was really nice. I advice you to come in this place, and i gonna come back ASAP! Thank you again.

Overall experiance was very bizarre upon arrivle Hans opened the door in just his underwear and left us waiting in the cold for him to get dressed. Being two girls 18-19 this was not a great impression, Hans then proceeded to tell us about him being a fashion photographer and that he really likes young girls, leaving us feeling very uneasy (luckily we knew other people in Amsterdam at the time of our stay). The room was fine very warm with the heating on nice size, however the communialn area is just a no go, reeks of cat urin very dark and unclean naked paintings of what look like hans girlfriend. Hans was quite often out and did not answer our phone calls which was frustrating considering it was our first time in Amsterdam. Location is great only two stops into the central town. The bath room is very small and the toilet paper was never replace during the whole 4 days of our stay. Cat poo was also in the corridor, it does clearly state that there is cats there but the level of uncleanliness is so off putting we spent minimial time there.
The room is ideally located, near to the museums and to public transportation. Is cozy, comfortable and with all necessary things.
I would definitely recommend this place.
