Family flat with parking next to station
|地址||Chinbrook Crescent, SE12 9TJ London, 英国|
**Folkstone 1hr by car**
**Gatwick 45mn by train**
**Central London 15mn by train**
The flat has two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and bathroom. The large bedroom has four bunk beds and the small bedroom has a double bed. The living room has comfortable seating for six, and a dining table with four chairs plus two folding chairs. The bathroom has a bathtub with shower. The kitchen has a fridge, oven and four burner hob, plus a washing machine.
The flat is functional and has everything a family would need for a short city break. The kitchen is in need of a refurbishment, and the whole flat needs some redecoration. This is scheduled for November 2015. In the meantime, guests can enjoy the flat as it is, knowing that if it were newly refurbished they would be paying more!
Guests have exclusive use of the entire flat: kitchen, bathroom and living room. No one else will be sharing. Guests will have their own keys and will be able to come and go as they please.
Interaction with Guests
I meet guests when they check in, and say good bye when they leave. Apart from that I do not usually meet or socialise with guests. However, once or twice per year Clare and I invite our guests to our home for an evening meal.
Grove Park is a commuter suburb of London. It has shops and cafés clustered around the railway station. Chinbrook Meadows is just around the corner from the railway station and has two play areas for children, tennis courts, and a charming brook meandering through.
The flat is next to the railway station - it could not be closer. From the gates of the flat to the ticket office, the walk takes under 60 seconds! For local journeys there is a bus stop opposite the railway station.
Journey times by train to central London are:
London Bridge - 15mn,
Waterloo East - 20mn,
Charing Cross - 25mn.
The last train home leaves Charing Cross at 00:48. If you miss the last train, a night bus leaves every 30 minutes (every 20 minutes Friday and Saturday night) throughout the night from Trafalgar Square to the bus stop opposite Grove Park Station.
An oystercard is the simplest and usually cheapest way to move around London. It is valid on nearly all rail, underground, tram and bus journeys within London (a notable exception is the Heathrow Express). To use an Oystercard you must buy credit, and each time you make a journey the cost of that journey is taken from the credit. But the really good news is that there is a daily price cap. For adults travelling within Zones 1-4 the daily price cap is £7.70. And for children under 16 the daily price cap is £1.50.
On the "Transport for London" website search for "visitor oyster card" to find out how to buy your Oystercards before you travel to London, and how to apply for child photo oystercards for under 16s.

We were a group of five and stayed in Tom's flat for 6 nights. London Bridge is reachable within 15 - 20 minutes with the train. Tom and his housekeeper Dolo collected us from the train station "Grove park" and showed us the way to the flat (2 minutes walk). We received two keys and didn't had to pay any caution. Communication was without any problems, Tom gave me the phone number from his housekeeper and she was always reachable. It was a really nice stay at Tom's flat !!
It was really nice to stay at Tom & Clare's place. They are very kind people and very helpfull too!
We would definitely come back if we would go to London again.
Thank you for the amazing week!
Me and my 12 year old daugther really enjoyed our stay in Clares and Toms home. Our room and the rest of the house were nice and comfortable. Tom and Clare were very friendly and helpful. We have had a good time there.

We`ve been with Tom & Clare while our Holiday in London from 14. to 19. of August 2013. They were great hosts, we felt almost at home. It`s a short way to the city of London, just a 10-Minutes Walk to Railway Station and 20 Minutes to Charing Cross Station.
We enjoyed our time in London, thanks again for the hospitality and kindness
I found in Tom and Clare excellent hosts. Always kind and helpful to make me feel at home. Thanks a lot.
We had a good time staying in Clare´s and Tom´s house. They are very helpful and it´s easy to get to London by bus and train or DLR. Kitchen very well equipped. We can recommed it to everyone who loves to have some quiet time after a busy day in London! My 7 year old son especially liked the puppy dog.
We had a really nice Time! The house was so pretty and the family very friendly and helpful! We would defenitifly stay there again.
I could have ever imagined better for my visit in London.
I recommend them if you want to spend time in a beautiful house with welcoming people who give advice gladly.
