Vondelpark Guesthouse 2*****
|地址||Roemer Visserstraat, 1054EV Amsterdam, 荷兰|
The room with new TV and free WiFi is in one of the typical brick stone housings of Amsterdam, recently renovated with the convenience of home-from-home and has all the comforts that you would expect. The bathroom was recently renovated. Fresh towels will be provided.
The new bathroom (march 2014) is shared with another guestroom. The cleaner is every day in the house.
Situated in a beautiful surrounding and close to the exciting parts of Amsterdam. Like the famous Jordaan, Dam Square, Paradiso, Leidse Square, 5 minutes’ walk ! to Museum District (Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh & Rembrandt) and Amsterdam Central Station. A lot of bars and restaurants are situated close to this beautiful apartment.
It is close to the airport as well; it takes less than 30 minutes by bus, which stops around the corner..
Vondelpark is the biggest and most charming park of the city. You look out of bedroom onto this beautiful park. With the use of natural elements it is like being in a forest with the park as neighbor.
It’s for those who want something special during their trip. It’s close to the grocery and other shops, the biggest Apple Store of the world recently opened just upon the street. There are numbers of trendy cafes and restaurants in this neighbourhood. Feel like a local for a few days; it’s easy to rent a bike at this location.
We love to give our guest extra information and give them a warm welcome in our beautiful city.
Guests are required to check out by no later than 11.30 am on the day of departure.
My friend and I stayed at the "Vondelpark bed & breakfast 2." It is perfectly located right where we wanted to be. Leidseplein Central square is just a couple minute walk. Jan was very polite and had breakfast set up every morning. The only surprise was that from the pictures it looked much more updated. The bathroom upstairs was updated and very nice. I just was a little surprised about how the room looked in comparison to the picture I saw before putting in my request. Overall I was still happy with my stay.
Jan was very nice and organized everything perfect.
I'm a little bit sad about the fact, I got a different room then the one I booked and that the toilet was on another floor.
The area is very nice and very central, good to go and travel by tram and bus!
Very good location, situated near to city center with main attractions. Very nice host. Only negative point: as the house is very charming but old the walls are not at all soundproof. But as I said - it´s a very nice location and the host prepares great breakfast.
We enjoyed staying at Jan-he was very helpful and the room was fine - the location perfect. I highly recommend staying there- will come back definitely.Had a great time in amsterdam- Thank you Jan
We stayed at Jan's place for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Jan is a very polite and helpful host who contacted us in advance to for our arrival time and to give us directions from the airport / central station.
The house is a typical historic building which, apart from the rooms and the shower, could indeed have a refurbishing here and there but it was definitely clean, nicely decorated and cosy. It was exactly like we expected it! Plus the location is perfectly situated at an entrance to Vondelpark where one can go for a walk and enjoy the sunshine. Real sportsmen might also consider to take their running shoes along... From Jan's place we were able to discover Amsterdam without getting footsore since most of the touristic attractions and main shopping areas are withing walking distance.
Our room had a lot of space (unlike other places in Amsterdam) and we enjoyed the quietness and the balcony. Jan sets a breakfast table for his guests with eggs, cereal and fruits every day and we were free to help ourselves to some cold cuts from the fridge. Even though the kitchen provides a small oven, I agree with other guests that it is rather not equiped for extensive cooking activities. However, there are plenty of international restaurants at Leidseplein to enjoy dinner, only a few steps away.
As for us, Vondelparkt Bed & Breakfast is definitely the place to stay when visiting Amsterdam :) Thanks Jan!
