The cosy studio features a comfortable double bed, a dresser and a small table with 2 stools. There is a compact kitchen with a hob and a microwave and the tiled bathroom includes a shower and a mirror. Laundry facilities are provided.
Saint-Lazare Train Station is just 300 metres away and boasts excellent transport connections around Paris. The Garnier Opera House and the Moulin Rouge can both be reached within 10 minutes' walk.
The 9th district is one of the trendiest Paris area with many French bistros, restaurants and bars. A Vélib Bike Rental Station is located nearby.
The studio is very nice. It has every essential thing that you need and it very close to the metro Sant Lazare. This stop metro is in the city center, you can go to everywhere.
Carole is a very kind and nice woman. I really recomend this studio in Paris
I had a great stay in this appartment, a perfect little place for me and my friend. It had a great location nearby two metro stations and the famous Galeries Lafayette and Printemps. Carole is a very nice and helpful woman, you could ask her anything and she would respond very quickly. There was no problems at all and I would definiteley stay here again.
This is our third stay in this little studio. Carole is kind , thoughtful and very helpful. The studio is warm in winter and surrounded by affordable restaurants and cafes. The beauty of it is in its central and very convenient location. Approximately 5 minutes up the rue Amsterdam from La Gare Lazare metro and RER station there are excellent transportation links to the popular sites. Buses and Taxis are immediately across the road from the Place de Budapest. (A taxi to La Gare de Lyon is 30 euros in the week and 40 euros at the weekend.) For dedicated shoppers Galeries Lafayette and Printemps is a ten minute walk down Boulevard Haussmann. You can walk to Montmartre in about 15 -20 minutes. If you go to La Gare Lazare and take the metro on line 12 you can get out at Place des Abesses and go up in the lift. If you don't want to toil up the steps you can then catch the Montmartro bus which will take you right up to the top and the Sacre Coeur and the artist's square is only 5 minutes walk. For art buffs Bus number 24 goes all the way from Gare St-Lazare (in the 8th arrondissement) to École Vétérinaire de Maisons-Alfort (a little bit outside the city centre of Paris). On the way to the Gare St-Lazare you’ll pass the Jardin des Plantes and Notre Dame cathedral; then you’ll continue along the Seine to the Musée d’Orsay, Place de la Concorde, and Place de la Madeleine. The bus is a great way stress free way to see Paris. You can buy your tickets from Gare Lazare ticket office or the machines. Why not book Carole's cosy little studio. You'll be so glad you did. We were!
Very nice flat situated in a excellent location. The house has everything that you need to stay a few days. I recommended to everyone.
Great central apartment only a 2 minute walk to the metro, very quite at night and everything you need is provided. Very small but excellent for a short stay. Delightful little apartment close to all amenities, would definitely stay again!
Check in was at 3pm and Carole met us. It was nice having a washing machine (which you need to ask her to explain how to use) and it is VERY central, next to the St. Lazare train station and the Roissy Bus stop to CDG. Bed was okay, reasonably clean.
Extremely noisy on some nights, several bars below, loud garbage collection around 5:30am every other morning. Two sex shops on the street and some dubious looking beggars/prostitutes/crazy people but nobody ever bothered us in the least.
Apartment is a bit small so would be a good idea if it were decluttered of some of the things inside.
Nice, cozy appartment, the location is good (near a train and metro station!)
Contact with the host Carole was pretty.
Had a nice stay in Paris here!
Nice place, small but comfortable, very central. We could walk to all the big attractions, like Montmartre and the Eiffel Tower. It was also very easy to get to the airport. I will defently recomend this place. Thea and Margit.
We had a lovely stay at Caroles place.
The location was splendid for getting to all the places we wanted to go in Paris. The saint-lazare metro/train hub just next door made it possible to get to any of Paris' 18 or so metro lines within 5-10 minutes. In essence the entirety of things we wanted to see in Paris was within 30 minutes reach, with the notable exception of Versailles that took about 1~ hour due to RER strikes.
The place itself, while not of the highest standard, is more than good enough for young travellers like us. With a small but functional kitchen we could even make breakfast there before heading out.
We recommend this place for anyone going to Paris for their vacation.
