We arrived late at night and Alessandro still greeted us at the door. He was very friendly and gave us a map of Rome and an overview of the public transportation options around the apartment. We were positively surprised by the room as we had not expected much for this price. The en suite bathroom was definitely a plus. The room was very clean and neat. The little details (like adapters) were what made this room very nice. Breakfast: Orange juice, tea, coffee, toast, little chocolate croissants etc. Totally sufficient! Again, the breakfast table was very neatly arranged.
Alessandro was always happy to help whenever we had a question. It was all pleasantly uncomplicated, which we appreciated a lot.
So if you are looking for an affordable place to stay but still want some quality, we can definitely recommend this place. If we come back to Rome, we will stay at Alessandro's again for sure!
Was a very nice Vacation in alessandros room. Maybe we'll come again.
Very nice area, quiet but still close to just about everything. Friendly and generous accomodation in Alessandros good care. Clean and nice room!
We had a wonderful time in Rom and thanks to Alessandro for his apartment and his support. We really loved to got this nice room not far from vatican and central city of Rom. The local public transport was very next to our room and we used them often. We were happy that we select this lodging by using WIMDU.
Alessandro is a great host. We found the accomodations to be great value for money. Our room was quiet and spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The private bathroom was nicely set up. We got good recommendations from Alessandro and he was open to helping us with special small difficulties.
We tended to run out of hot water too quickly when in the shower, but we didn't say anything about it.The location by the train station (and 6 minute walk to a tram stop) made getting around easy. A good find!
A very good bedroom! Very clean and very near from the train and tramp station that connects you to all Rome. The attention of the owner Alessandro it deserves nothing but praise..abundant and delicious breakfast Totally recommended!
We had a very pleasant stay here. Nice and comfy room with own bathroom and a nice large bed, everything was clean. Alessandro was very kind and helpful. Cosy kitchen where you can eat your breakfast. Trainstation nearby which can take you to trastevere in only 2 minutes. Would definitely recommend this place if you want to have a comfortable stay for a good price.
It was a very pleasant stay at Allessandro's bed and breakfast. Our train arrived at 23:00 in Rome and it was no problem that we arrived at Allesandro at 00:00 o'clock. The room was decorated very nicely and everything (including the private bathroom) was very clean. We could use the kitchen with all the equipments and every morning there was a lot of food and drinks. We could even use a laptop. The bed and breakfast is not exactly situated in the heart of Rome, but it's a nice neighbourhood next to Trastevere with good connections to all the curiosities like the Colosseum and the Vatican. We would definitely reccomend the place to other people!
My family stayed here for one night. They were more than satisfied with apartment and also hospitality of alessandro. After they came back from the trip in Italy most of the time they spoke about rome and great experience they had there with accomodation at alessandros apartment. I will highly recommand this apartment even for overnight stay.
HIGHLY recommended place.
Nice, clean and lively building -the neighbours were friendly and helpful the one time we needed them.
Very close to the train station and a couple of bus stops, so that was a plus. Keep in mind that you'll have to use at least two different means of transport to get to the "center" of Rome -or you could just walk half the distance, like we usually did.
The apartment itself was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast, fridge, stove, coffee machine, towels, hair drier, a fan and even a laptop were provided.
Used to staying in hostels, these were all welcome additions.
Funny locks throughout the building, takes some time getting used to. Kind like playing an adventure game, lol.
Didn't actually get to meet Alessandro, Emanuela was very helpful though :)
