Really value for money. nice location.
I have been staying at this appartment with my girlfriend last week and we had a really nice and comfortable stay.
First of all the house is located at Placa de Sants, only 3 metro stops away from La Rambla (the main street of Barcelona).
The room is clean and big. The only downside was that the jacuzzi isn't working, but that was mentioned beforehand, so no surprise! Furthermore the bath is still perfect for use, only the bubbling system is down so for me it was actually not even a problem.
The owners Zai and his wife were really kind to us during our whole stay. They absolutely want you to enjoy your stay there and in Barcelona overall and when you come in they will always ask you if there is anything they can do for you.
Overall we had a good time at Valladolid 5 and I would definitely recommend the appartment to others.
everything was good

Great place to stay, all were very kind and ready to help at anytime. Everything was clean and in its place. I really loved the rest time beginning at 11 pm!!!.
Definitely was a good choice.
I was looking for a simple, quiet, clean place to just sleep and have a private bathroom. These requirements were met, the people were also friendly and the room was exactly like shown in the picture. Therefore there is no formal reason to complain.
There was no door, not even a curtain between room an bathroom, there was no carpet whatsoever in either place and the floor was cold. The bath tube was wrongly constructed and even if you took a shower carefully the water would flow through the side "channel" of the bath tube straight into the floor. As I helped them with the Internet presence I got 2 towels for free that also were never changed until I asked for it + a third one to reduce the floor damage after every shower flooding. You graciously get one toilette paper roll when you come and you have to buy some for the rest of your stay.
The kitchen was more or less Ok, but not clean enough to cook on a regular basis. I never saw the young chap of the picture.
My opinion is the same than others.
I reserved the 'pink' room and they gave us the green one.
-Very good jaccuzzi
-5 metro stations from the center of Barcelone
-Noisy neighborhood, and noisy bed
-Towels are 1€ extra charge
-No toilet paper
-No place to put stuff on
Globally, the room was really nice. 5 min from metro station, and 15 to the center.
The house was fine but not what I would call "a familly house".
The room was ok exept no place at all to hang clothes. I stayed 10 days with my husband so it was little bit stressful.
Other problems of the room is that there is no door for the bathroom and the pillows are terribles.
The communication was confusing because there are several responsibles. So the person at talked to at the accomodation was not the same than on the website.
Otherwise the location is quite good (close to Sants estacio), we had a place in the common fridge, the kitchen was clean and well furnished.
He never answered my questions and emails
We stayed here for a week and had a great time.
The room looked luxurious with marble tiles on the floor, a toilet and bidet and a working jacuzzi!
Every room had one shelf in a spacey fridge and use of the kitchen with washing machine. A dryer we found at the laundromat at walking distance. The neighborhood was residential rather than touristic so restaurant and supermarket prices were affordable. Metro, bus stop and train station were all within walking distance. Toilet paper was provided the first time but was available in the many small and bigger supermarkets in the vicinity. Large towels were provided for 1 Euro each and well worth the investment. Some words of advise: the room was rather dark en opposite the kitchen which meant that sometimes the smell of food would drift in and there was no sleeping in because people would have breakfast in front of the only window in the room. We were there early March and there was no heating system so we asked for an extra blanket which was provided at no extra cost. There was also no TV which was nice because the rooms were not sound prove so peace and quiet all around. Unless you're a sound sleeper don't expect to be able to sleep late because the sound of other guests in the hallway and kitchen will wake you up. All things considered we received good value for money.
