B&B Biest-Stro can offer you this arrangement in a very surpising environment. The room is located in a large wagon on a nearby farm (see the picture).
The farmer and his son are milking a herd of 600 sheep twice a day and they are making cheese and yoghurt of het sheepsmilk. They appriciate it when you can help them milking or feeding the animals and they are very wiling to tell you about the life and work on the farm. Especially for children the stay will be an unforgettable experience.l
The room has a double bed and the possibility of two extra fieldbeds for children. In the wagen is a kitchen, a fridge, coffee and tea machines, heating and it has electricity. It is competely ready for use, with towels and bedding included. The size of the wagon is 9mx2,5m. Outside you can sit under the tarp (a tent roof) on the garden chairs and tables.
The bathroom is outside the wagon at the farmhouse.

Mixed reviews on this weekend. 1st Henk was suppose to pick me up from the other side of the ferry and he wasn't there. After finding WiFi in Amsterdam he had messaged saying he couldn't pick us up now. We got a taxi eventually and very nearly didn't find the wagon (late flight meant it was dark) Alex was extremely understanding and kind and showed us around.
The wagon was lovely and has great kitchen facilities. The biggest problem with it was it was freezing, the small electric heater did nothing so we used all the blankets available. (luckily our 3rd guest couldn't make it) It has a comfy double beds but would have preferred a double duvet rather than 2 singles. The 2 camp beds didn't look very comfortable.
Henk made out the bike route was extremely easy and quick, well we got lost on the way there and back to the city and it was very stressful biking into massive housing estates (tower block flats)
Henk was very kind and picked us up from the other side of the ferry. He insisted we brought the bikes back the next day. So when attempting this we got lost again so we had to return because our flight was at 1.
My advice ensure you have. Sat.nav or map!!! And a hot water bottle!
Henk is a very friendly host and so was the farmers. But we were surprised to see that the surrounding of the wagon was different from the pictures showed at the Wimdu page. Just outside the door is a little hill of car tiles and 25 mts from the wagon was a dung hill with 100000 flies, many of them came in to the wagon. It was quite chilly at night, the children's beds were extremely uncomfy, there were to many spiders, Mosquitos and flies to make us feel relaxed. The room where we could shower was completely bare, not even a hook to hang your towel while you were having a shower, and it was not the cleanest. Witch also describes the wagon, it was in a need of a deep clean. It could have been ok for a very less price.
Great host // Great farmers // Great surroundings // Great accomodation // Great experience..We will come another time..that's for sure!
It was a real privilige to have the chance to spend two nights of our honeymoon in the wagon at Alex's farm. Not only did we enjoy his generous hospitality and kind and helpful attitude whenever we had any questions, but he went the extra mile and helped us get back to the city by car whenever he could.
The wagon was very romantic and situated at the edge of the farm facing a beautiful landscape of endless greenery embraced by soothing silence. After the bustling city of Amsterdam, the wagon was a real sanctuary where we could lay our heads to rest and wake up reborn the next day.
The breakfast we received each morning was a rich and delicious basket of dairy products produced at the farm. The portion was abundant and the unmistakable taste of natural, home-made cheese, butter and milk unforgettable.
We highly recommend Alex for anyone who longs for a unique, romantic and cozy experience at the outskirts of Amsterdam.
The Farm was beautiful and the People were nice, the small town is amazing and romantic.
but i think that one should have written in the Advertisment about the bath and toilet they are not in the Wann but about 50 meters away the weather was cold so it was very annoying.
that you are near the sheeps all the time (so you can smell and hear them) is something I should have thought about, but i got used to it quickly.
