The apartment is beautiful located with a fantastic rooftop terrace.
Elisabetta is a kind host and she gave us some tips for cultural experiences and nice places to eat.
Elisabetta is a very friendly host. She welcomed us at the apartment and explained the whole apartment, neighberhood and travel possibilities to us. We had a lovely weekend in Rome! We did not had the best weather so we were not able to use the rooftop terrace, but the view is awesome!
Even though the flat has a fantastic and spacious roof terrace with a splendid view and is aesthetically equipped, it is full of all kinds of things that others left, i.e. an opened pack of sausages or a tube of lubricating cream. It is even not really clean. The handles and knobs are somewhat sticky. Moreover, the door of the shower can only be closed from outside. The water is either icecold or really hot. Lukewarm water is only available for approx. two seconds when the water turns from cold to hot or vice versa.
Unfortunately, we did not get the chance to meet Elisabetta in person. Instead we met her husband Riccardo who phoned me six times in a 10 minutes period while we walked from the train station to the flat because he wondered why we had not yet arrived even though he knew that we had to carry our suitcases which might take 2 minutes longer than it normally takes him. We felt a little bit annoyed by his calls.
Despite all this, we had a lovely time in Rome and enjoyed the cultural Highlights of this very interesting city.
Great place to stay. Roof terrace is wonderful with amazing view, the appartment itself is very nice. Shower difficult to get the right temperature, that is the only thing that needs to be fixed. Great hospitality. Only a 10 minutes walk to the metro and two buses stop really close by. We had a wonderful time!
it's great view.
5 minute to metro.
1 minute to bus stop.
everything is perfect for me
it's good place for me.
Elisabetta was fast to contact me. Very good description of the appartment. We had a great stay i rome. Thanks.
Wonderful stay! It was such a great place to be, the terrace was amazing, everything is thought through : very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed... adorable host who did her best to comply with our arrival time ! Just perfect !
And a bottle waiting for us as a welcome gift we'll definitely be back
Lovely appartment, warm and friendly. Beautifull terrace, and outdoor kitchen. Good bed. Elizabetta is a perfect host. Fast connections to the center of Rome. Triple A location for a reasonable price. Good restaurants in the area, like The Osteria in Via Enna. We certainly can recommend this appartment!
We really enjoyed staying at Elisabetta's penthouse. It was amazing to have an extravagant amount of space in Rome, and to have our own huge patio overlooking the city. We also enjoyed having a well-equipped kitchen and lots of separation between bedroom and living area. There is much to love about this penthouse, but there are also a few "loose ends". For instance, there is no shower door, so water tends to spray around the otherwise lovely bathroom. The place is somewhat cluttered (both inside and on the patio). The bed is comfortable, but the linens are not hotel quality. Also, you have to walk up one flight of steps to the 10th floor, as the elevator stops at the 9th. The neighbourhood is safe and friendly (despite appearances) and we enjoyed having a supermarket and a cappucino place close by. Five minute walk to the metro and very close to Tuscolana train station (easy access to airport). We plan to stay here again, and will recommend this place to our friends. Despite a few rough edges, this place is a wonderful bargain in Rome. Elisabetta is a wonderful host.
