Bright and inviting, the room features a comfortable double bed and a small dining area. Guests can wake up to the sounds of the canal and enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee on the patio with views of a typical Dutch windmill.
The nearest tram stops are only 2 minutes on foot, and the famous Albert Cuyp Market is just a 15-minute tram ride away. The city’s main Bloemenmarkt (flower market) is 25 minutes by tram.
Walk to the Artis Zoo within just 15 minutes. Oosterpark (East Park) is a beautiful English Garden style park from the 19th century and is 10 minutes’ walk away.
This B n B is pretty special
House boat on the canal with ducks and geese outside the window.
Ben is a terrific host and makes an excellent breakfast.
There are 2 pubs a hundred metres away and a nearby 22 bus takes you into town about 10 minutes away.
My wife and I give this 6 stars out of 5
Une fois de plus, ravie de voyager avec Wimdu !
Benny is a great host. His breakfast are delicious. The bed is reaaly confortable. The place is quiet, but yet close to the city by tram.
Thanks you fro everything and the good advice !
Everything was just perfect! Ben is a great host and the room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, the ambience very special (staying on a houseboat) and the breakfast was very delicious! It was a lovely stay! 100% recommendable!
Thank you Ben, for a fantastic stay in Amsterdam! Having such a great breakfast and the view on the canal in the morning made our day. Also, that you were always willing to support us, made it a very comfortable time! We will highly recommend you and hope that we will get the chance to come again soon :)
Ben was an excellent host! The location was very central, clean and comfortable, just warm and beautiful. Ben had a lot of tips and advice at any time and for every topic. My girlfriend and me had a very nice trip to Amsterdam and the landcape around the capital. We highly recommend Ben and his location!
We had a lovely stay at Ben's Boat and Breakfast, I can only recommend it with all my heart, and I'm sure that if I come back to Amsterdam, I'll go there again. Everything was perfect, I cannot think of a single negative thing !
Hubert (29) and Melody (23), journalist and lawyer: "We spent five unforgettable days on the boat Ben. Smiling and discreet, our host welcomed us in the best conditions. Dutch soul, Ben serves amazing breakfasts and can advise you if you knock at his door. What a pleasure to get up in the morning over the water ...
Before booking we have only hesistate under the proximity to the city center. be quiet : the boat is in the center, near the oldest windmills in Amsterdam. By foot, you are 25 minutes from the very center, ten minutes by tram. Just get off at "Pontanusstraat" close to the boat, and take line 14 to the stop "Dam". You're in the circle of the 'Singel', the oldest canal in the city, ready to walk into the heart of Amsterdam...
Last advantage of the boat, it's located close to a "P & R", the parking required for travelers who park them car several days. Finally, an address highly recommended ! '
Attentive, welcoming and helpful host, lovely view over the water from the clean and comfortable room, facilities above and beyond, and an excellent breakfast - all within easy transport access of the town centre and tourist hotspots. Highly recommended and super value!
Wonderful houseboat ! Many thanks Ben for these 2 lovely days we spent in Amsterdam, the location was very quiet and perfect to discover the city: the center was easily reachable by foot but also bus, tram and train (Muiderpoort station). The breakfast was wonderful, we discovered dutch specilities (yummy) and Ben even prepared us a doggy-bag for the 2nd day as we had to leave in the early morning to catch our flight...We will recommend Ben's houseboat to our family and friends for their next visit in Amsterdam !
Excellent accommodation with easy transport links.Lovely room and a great breakfast thank you Ben I only wish we could have stayed longer. Can't find any faults and would certainly stay here again.
